Ajax wampa Blind ruhusa ya kufanya mazungumzo ya uhamisho kwenda Manchester United.

The two clubs have agreed a £14 million fee for the 24-year-old as Louis van Gaal moves to strengthen his defensive options before the end of the transfer window
Daley Blind has been given permission by Ajax to hold talks with Manchester United.

United have been keen on a move for the 24-year-old all summer and the two clubs have now agreed a £14 million fee.

A statement from Ajax read: "Daley Blind will not be part of the match squad for the away game against Groningen. Ajax have granted the Netherlands international permission to open talks with an interested club."

Louis van Gaal is keen to strengthen his defensive options following the arrival of Marcos Rojo from Sporting, although the Argentina international has not yet obtained a work permit and is still unavailable for selection.

Blind, who said earlier in August that he would find it difficult to turn down a move to Old Trafford, primarily plays as a left-back but is capable of covering in central defence.

Blind is set to become United's sixth signing of the summer following the arrivals of Ander Herrera, Luke Shaw, Vanja Milinkovic, Rojo and Di Maria, who joined from Real Madrid in a deal worth £59.7m on Tuesday.
