A teacher performed a sexy lap dance for one of her pupils in a room full of other students because she wanted to give him the 15-year-old birthday present.
Felicia Smith, 42, gave a four-minute dance, which included getting on her knees and and placing her head between his legs as music played to celebrate his birthday.
Police said she began by placing a chair at the front of the class.
She then launched into the the lap dance, rubbing her hands on the boy's body and grinding against him during the incident in February.
Smith, who taught at Stovall Middle School, in Houston, Texas, was grabbed by the buttocks twice by the boy, in front of a room full of students.
She ended the performance by hugging him and saying, "I love you baby. Happy birthday", according to court documents released earlier this year.
Smith told investigators she remembered "circling the student while he was sitting in the chair and losing her balance a few times, which made students laugh."
Asked if the allegations were false, she said: "No comment."
After pleading guilty to having an inappropriate relationship with the boy, Smith was sentenced to three years of deferred adjudication - a kind of probation.
