BESIKTAS 0-0 ARSENAL: Gunners escape with goalless draw despite Ramsey red card

 Arsenal held on to record a 0-0 draw with Besiktas in the first leg of their Champions League play-off in Istanbul on Tuesday, despite having Aaron Ramsey sent off in the dying minutes.

The Wales international was dismissed for two yellow cards with just under 10 minutes remaining but Besiktas could not capitalise and the two sides head into next week's second leg at the Emirates level-pegging.
