CHECK VIDEO YA BROCK LESNAR ALIVYOMMALIZA JOHN CENA NA KUTWAA WWE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP.

Brock Lesnar delivered on his promise to decimate WWE champion John Cena, ripping the heavyweight title away from the 15 time world champion, reports Rob Leigh in California.

Lesnar, 37, a former three time champion himself, demolished one of WWE's greatest ever headliners with 16 German suplexes and two F5s en route to picking up the victory - seemingly following a scorched earth approach to dethrone Cena in the heat of the sports entertainment company's biggest event of the summer.

A sellout Los Angeles Staples Center crowd of 17,000 witnessed Cena being battered from pillar to ringpost in one of WWE's most shockingly one-sided main attractions, with ex UFC kingpin Lesnar stalking and tossing his opponent around with ease throughout the contest, cutting off several comebacks with devastating precision.

Dethroned: Brock Lesnar got out of this sticky situation to defeat champ John Cena

An attempt to conclude matters early on in the match with an F5 - Lesnar's finisher of choice which ended the Undertaker's 21 WrestleMania victory streak in April - illustrated the huge challenge Cena faced.

But it was the degree to which Cena was tossed around by Lesnar's suplexes that spelled doom for the champ's reign, including two sequences of three suplexes and another of four among the cataclysm of savage throws.
A desperate attempt by Cena to claw back momentum with an STF submission lead to the end of the shocking thrashing, with Lesnar escaping with a flurry of stiff punches and body shots before a second F5 lead to WWE's hero-in-chief being counted out for the three.

Cena wasn't the only title holder to go down in flames - Dolph Ziggler was crowned Intercontinental champion for a second time, besting Miz, while Norwich's Paige also began a second stint with the Divas belt, downing AJ Lee in another hard-hitting encounter.

Roman Reigns crunched Randy Orton with a wicked Spear in the penultimate match of the evening, and must now be considered one of the top contenders to step up and take on Lesnar.
